Dry Martini

The Dry Martini is the most “sleek” and minimalist cocktail. It mainly consists of gin with a small amount of dry vermouth,  garnished with an olive.

Ingredients

60 ml Yellowhammer London Dry gin

10–15 ml dry Noilly Prat vermouth

Lots of ice

Three  olives

Preparation

Fill a cocktail glass with ice and set it aside to chill well.

Then fill a mixing glass with ice and add the dry vermouth and the Yellowhammer gin.

Stir the mixture gently but thoroughly until it is well chilled, about 20–30 seconds.

Then discard the ice from the cocktail glass so that the glass remains nicely chilled. S

train the dry martini through a strainer into the cold martini glass.

Finish with three olives on a skewer as garnish.
